Dr. Terry Tracey
Terence J. G. Tracey is professor emeritus of counseling and counseling psychology at Arizona State University, where he served in various administrative roles, including department head and associate dean. He is the former editor-in-chief of the Journal of Counseling Psychology and has authored over 200 articles and book chapters.
His research focuses on four areas: client-therapist interaction, interpersonal personality models, vocational interests, and the academic success of minority students. Tracey has received numerous accolades, including the Lifetime Distinguished Achievement Award in Vocational Psychology and the Leona Tyler Award from the Society of Counseling Psychology. He is also a fellow of several prestigious organizations, including the American Psychological Association and the American Educational Research Association.
