[Music] Welcome back to Psychotherapy and Applied Psychology. I'm your host, Dr. Dan Cox, a professor of counseling psychology at the University of British Columbia. This is going to be a short one today. No guest, no deep dive. The reason is that I've been spending my time building something that I've been wanting to put together for a while, which is a proper website for the podcast. I wanted to hop one quickly and tell you about it. You can visit the site at psychotherapy and appliedpsychology.com. Those spaces just one word psychotherapy and appliedpsychology.com. I know it's a mouthful just like the podcast name, but I'll put a link in the show notes and if you're watching on YouTube it'll be in the description below. Now, what's on the website? Every past episode is available to listen to or watch right on the site, both the audio version and the YouTube version, all in one place. Each episode has the full show notes with all the links, a complete transcript, and links to the guest's website. Also on the site, you can sign up to get an email notification whenever a new episode of the podcast comes out. If you've ever missed an episode or just want to know the moment that something drops, go to psychotherapy and applypsychology.com, write at the bottom of the homepage and sign up. Just slide your email address in there and then from then on out, you'll be getting emails whenever a new episode comes out. And if you want to get in touch with me, whether it's a question, a topic suggestion, feedback, whatever, there's now a contact form on the website. In addition to the contact form, you can also send me a voice message. And if you're viewing the website from your phone, you can send me a voice message or you can send me a text right from the website. The site is new. I have a few ideas for things that I'm going to add in the near future, but I would love to hear from you about what you think would make it more useful for you or for anyone else who might be interested. Just please let me know. I really want feedback. So that way I can devote time to adding features and pages and all these things that will actually be useful for folks who watch their listen to the show. Just use the contact form, text me, leave me a voice message, whatever is easiest for you. Also, if there's anyone listening who happens to have actual experience with this sort of thing, building websites, whatever, I would love to have your advice. And if you've been enjoying the show, do me a favor, share it with someone, friend, a colleague, or relative, whomever. Send them a link to an episode you liked or just send them to psychotherapy and applypsychology.com, now that I have a website. It's the easiest link to pass along if you know someone who'd be interested. Word of mouth is honestly the biggest way that this thing grows and I really appreciate it. All right, last thing before I let you go, I want to give you a heads up about what's coming next. In our next episode, I'm going to have a guest who, let me just say this, according to the web of science, this person is currently ranked as the number one author in psychiatry and psychology. And according to expert's scape, which ranks researchers by their expertise in biomedical topics. This person is the world's number one expert on psychotherapy research. I'm really looking forward to sharing that conversation with you next week. That's it for today. So please, one more time, go check out the website, psychotherapy and applypsychology.com, sign up for the email list, send me a message, send me a voice message, send me a text, whatever works for you. I would love, love, love to hear from you so that I can develop the site, add stuff to the site in a way that is most beneficial to others. Take care, everyone, and I will see you next time.[Music]
